An emergency blanket is a thin sheet of aluminized film, often called a Mylar or space blanket. It reflects body heat, folds into a pocket-sized packet and weighs very little. These blankets are meant for emergencies, first aid kits and short-term use rather than as a replacement for bedding or a sleeping bag.

The six packs below range from a two-pack of extra thick blankets to a 30-pack. Sizes, pack counts and materials come from each product’s listing page. We have not used these blankets in an emergency ourselves, and we make no safety or medical claims. For any real emergency, follow guidance from professionals.
