Bamboo blankets are made from viscose or rayon derived from bamboo pulp, sometimes blended with cotton or nylon. The fabric is soft, drapes well and is often sold as a cool summer blanket. Because the fiber is processed, “bamboo” describes the source of the fiber rather than a natural bamboo cloth.
