A bodyboard, also called a boogie board, is a short foam board ridden lying down. Most have an EPS foam core, a smooth slick bottom for glide and a softer deck. Inflatable versions trade the foam core for air and pack down small. Length is the first spec to compare.
The six boards below include four foam-core boards from 37 to 42.5 inches and two inflatables. Lengths, materials and included parts come from each product’s listing page. We have not used these boards ourselves. Performance claims are the makers’ own, and wave conditions and weight limits are for you to check with the maker.
